Our 2022 Women to Watch

According to the Center for American Women in PoliticsRepublican women make up a larger share of Congressional candidates this year than in 2020, making up 21.4% of the general election candidates for the House of Representatives and 19% of the general election candidates for the US Senate. Gubernatorial races show this same trend with Republican women making up 19.9% of the candidates nationwide compared to 13.9% in 2018. These advancements are exactly why Republican Women for Progress exists and we could not be more excited to announce our 2022 Women to Watch.

Our Women to Watch list highlights Republican women running for office at every level of government who are committed to working through the legislative process in a bipartisan way in order to create effective policy at the local, state, and national levels. According to RWFP Co-founder Kodiak Hill-Davis, “Seeing the record number of quality Republican women candidates this cycle is more than just rewarding, it’s also evidence that building the pipeline of candidates matters.”
