OUR STORY
Born from a love of public policy and a shared vision for a better Republican party, Republican Women for Progress (RWFP) is an organization committed to the ideas of a “Big Tent” party. We believe our brand of modern, forward-thinking Republicanism is the answer to reviving interest amongst women and younger generations. If the Party of Lincoln is to continue to exist, we must ditch antiquated social ideals and separatism, develop a space for dialogue, and work towards creating constructive policies instead of pushing political agendas.
Republican Women for Progress works toward the goal of improving the Republican party specifically by ensuring the full spectrum of Republican women’s voices are represented in the media, developing and supporting the pipeline of Republican women who want to lead and run for office, and refocusing the GOP on proper governance and policy. We are a 501(c)(4) nonprofit headquartered in Washington, D.C. with a network of women all over the world.
GUIDING POLICY PRINCIPLES
Republican Women for Progress has nine policy principles that reflect our vision for a modern “Big Tent” Republican party which upholds the values of small government and fiscal conservatism while being socially inclusive. RWFP feels these principles can pave the way to both good governance and thoughtful policy.
